The 2002 Korea/Japan FIFA Worldcup was epochal event that awakened to the greatness of soccer and other sports games. The passion that Koreans showed at the time cannot be compared with any other sporting events in the world, and after the Worldcup Koreans developed a new interest in soccer and many professional sports. However, because of the lack of sports administration and administrators in Korea, a number of visitors to the sports games turned their heads home instead of enjoying sports games. This environment, where professional sports administrators are in high demand, made me want to go to MBA in UTS to study sports marketing.
A few say that my Major over the past four years is not related to sports marketing at all, but I think that I had a chance to learn how to meet with, gather, and associate with people throughout my studies in theology and my experience in church service. I guess that though your programme is great, it cannot exist without people as well. Furthermore, my previous job may assist me to study your MBA course. I worked at an international trading company, Fuji Trading(Korea) co,. ltd., and learned many important skills. The experience as a soccer referee also gave me great knowledge of the Korean Football Association and Korean football industry.
In conclusion, I am sure that the mentioned experience will assist me to study MBA at UTS. During MBA study, I hope to study both business and sports marketing diligently. And then, I would like to show my ability in the Korean sports industry as a good administrator.
